MINI ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This statement was last updated on 30 December 2025.

I am committed to making yoga accessible,
and that includes this website.

What I am doing:

  • Checking that colour contrast at least meets AA standards for large text (it is possible to zoom to make the text larger).

  • Writing in plain English, and explaining Sanskrit terms where appropriate.

  • Writing out acronyms and initialisms.

  • Ensuring the website works well on both a mobile and laptop.

  • Ensuring there is no text that is in constant motion. There are some gentle, subtle animation effects as elements slide/fade in, but it stops within a second. There is no flashing.

  • There are no count down timers, so you can take your time filling out forms. Even as a mostly able-bodied person, this annoys the heck out of me!

I haven't completed a full accessibility audit yet. This was a part of my last desk job and I'm not quite ready to face it again!

Tools to make this website easier to view

It is my sincere wish that one of the good things to come out of AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be more accessibility tools that completely open up the web for everyone.

Need more help?

Please feel free to email me at Patchouli.Studio@outlook.com.

I am happy to help you book manually if you need assistance. It'll also be a good opportunity to touch in about your needs and how I can adjust the yoga class or one to one, to make sure you have the best experience. I'm here for you! I'm willing to put in the time to research what works in your situation, and for us to learn together.

Please let me know if there's something you've noticed that I need to change on the website to make it easier to use.
